Landmannalauger

Landmannalauger is a geothermal area with many hot springs, pools, and vents. As we walked toward Landmannalauger the terrain changed greatly. The mountains remain quite steep but were rounded and gradually as we got closer turned a brownish red color. The hot springs and vents were so prevalent on our hike to Landmannalauger that when we made it to the tourist attraction, Landmannalauger, the vents that attracted all the tourist were almost common place. Landmannalauger was our second food pick up, and we were quite surprised to find that the grocery store was a bus. We hoped in and grabbed what we could find. The shop keep was so surprised that we were getting so much that he offered us free chocolate. Which I gave to John.
