Jokulsarlon
Jokulsarlon is a glacial lake filled with icebergs. It was not a planned stop for us and we almost didnt hit it. Jokulsarlon is a resently created lake which was a mere puddle in the early 1900s and drasticly increases size around the 1950's. The creation of this lake was due to global climate, and weather pattern changes. Iceland's weather has changed drasticly within the last 100 years causeing an entire shift in food production from corn, cows, and sheep to almost entirely sheep.
